Course Description: Medical esthetics is the fastest growing segment of the spa industry and this is expected to continue given population growth and an increased focus on health and well-being. As a Medical Esthetician, you will specialize in overall skin care with a focus on facial skincare and treatments. You’ll deliver a variety of treatments such as skin tightening, skin anti-aging and skin resurfacing.
You are also trained to do laser hair removal, tatoo removal and remedial makeup. You’ll utilize various technologies such as laser, radiofrequency, infrared and microdermabrasion machines during the course of your training and work. Medical esthetics treatments are positively received because they are not invasive yet generate great results.
